A One Day Dirt Road Adventure on Beautiful Limestone Roads that Parallel the Gulf.

This is a party pace, low-pressure, choose-your-own-adventure dirt road ride that takes riders from Suwannee Florida to Steinhatchee and back. The majority of the terrain on this ride is composed of limestone roads and hardpack dirt.

There are several ways to tackle this route. You are welcome to join me as my plan is to ride to Fiddler's Resort, eat a meal, and then come back. But there are several store options just off the route that would shorten the one-way distance and a restaurant right on the route where you could stop grab some refreshments and then head back. You could also coordinate with a friend to leave a car in Steinhatchee and make this a one-way-30-something-mile adventure. Depending on the time, I may break off the route on the way back to go for a swim at Shired Island. I recommend everyone ride at whatever pace they like, go fast, or go slow, just enjoy the experience.

This is ride #2 in our Summer Dirt Road Adventure series and like the first one, it is a FREE event. There are no fees required to participate, just choose the FREE ticket. However, if you want to support my efforts for more future adventures by bike, choose the donation ticket and put a little something in the tip jar, no donation is too big or too small.

Once you are registered for the ride, you will get a link to an RWGPS event, follow the simple steps to drop the route right into your own personal app under the “my events” tab. Using this feature allows you to use the app for navigation or export the gpx for loading directly into your preferred unit with no additional subscriptions or membership cost.

Hope to see everyone on June 24th for this incredible ride!

Remember, This is an unsupported ride. There will be no support vehicles or sag wagons.

Be sure to check the weather forecast before you ride.

Let someone know where you are going and when you expect to be back.

Have fun!
